Peace in Prayer
In every time of struggle

Honor The Lord Day
This year we had a wonderful and large “Honor the Lord” offering. At this time, we have received right around $11,500.
Community Service
This year the Community Thanksgiving Service will be held here at FCCC. The service will be held on Sunday evening, November 23rd, 2008 at 7:00 PM. We will have Mark & Pam Fisher here that evening ministering to us and entertaining us by song. So be sure to mark this date and time on your calendars, they are good.

If you cannot serve on your appointed Sunday, trade with someone or call the church office.
Donations needed for the Cookie Walk!
The Annual Church Bazaar (“Grandma’s Pantry”) will be held Saturday, November 22, 2008 from 10:00am to – 2:00pm. The “Cookie Walk” held last year was a huge success thanks to all those who donated cookies. The Activity Group is asking again for cookie donations for this year as we plan on an even bigger event. If anyone would like to donate, please contact Margaret Hoerr at 309-968-7506 or Marcia Whitehouse 309-968-7647.

This year we will be visiting “Grandma’s Pantry.” The Cookie Walk will be back, along with all the other goodies, pies, rolls, breads, craft items, candies, pecans, lunch, and the fellowship we share that day with others. For advance orders for pies, call Karen Chaney at 309-968-7323 or Norma Jean Bilyeu at 309-968-6186. For advance orders for rolls or breads, call Jacque Whitaker at 309-597-2279. Also, watch for sign-up sheets for advance orders. A lot of help will be needed for bake days, so contact any of the women above if you can help. The Men’s Fellowship will be needing donations for the luncheon. It would be appreciated if anyone in the congregation would like to donate cookies, cakes and other baked goods. Watch for sign-up and donation sheets on the bulletin board.

It is hard to believe but it is already approaching winter, which means colder
weather and SNOW. We will be having a sign-up sheet in the foyer for snow
