 Activity Group

The Activity Group met on October 16, 2008. Our guest, Joan Blair presented a picture and story program about a 36-hour trip that she and her daughter Sydney to Elizabethtown. The trip was inspired by the movie of the same name. Thank you Joan for a great program, oh yes, everyone now wants Joan to plan their next trip.

Thank you to all who stayed after church on Honor the Lord Sunday for the chicken & noodle dinner, we enjoyed all who stayed and shared the fellowship of the day. It was a great success.

Our Christmas party will be December 5, 2008 with the Young Chicks and 1 Great Ole Hen catering.

Remember that a sign-up sheet for the Rotary meal on the 2nd Tuesday of every the month is posted. Please check your schedule to see when you can help with this dinner. All the monies from this dinner go to the roof fund and after that to the Honor the Lord fund.

A trip is planned in April for a Dinner Matinee entitled “Church Basement Ladies Circa ‘21”. Deposit of $25.00 must be made by December 20, 2008. Final payment is due by March 22, 2008. The total amount of the trip is $76.50 and the date is on Wednesday, April 22, 2009. Due to the date of deposit, we must have our list together soon. We plan to leave at 8:00 am and returning at 8:00 pm. If you would be interested in going, please let us know.
